We held the event “Keys to Access International Capital Markets”.
During the gathering, we had the honor of hosting prominent professionals, Cecilia Carriquiry and Ignacio Temerlin, who shared their extensive experience in the field of securities issuance and provided valuable insights into the structuring of public offerings of bonds and stocks.
Cecilia Carriquiry, Director at Patria Investments, is a chemical engineer graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from Harvard University. With over 12 years of experience in strategic consulting, investment banking, corporate finance, and investments, Cecilia has led important operations such as the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of CAAP on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) and the SPAC listing of Lavoro on NASDAQ. She has also participated in public debt issuances of over USD 300 million and has been involved in various acquisitions.
On the other hand, Ignacio Temerlin holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The Wharton School, with a specialization in Finance, from the University of Pennsylvania. With over 17 years of experience in investment banking, Ignacio has focused on capital markets for emerging markets. He has been involved in the structuring and syndication of over 100 debt transactions, surpassing a total amount of US$100 billion, for issuers in Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East.
During the event, Carriquiry and Temerlin shared their experiences and insights, providing attendees with a clear understanding of how public offerings of bonds and stocks are conducted in international markets. Their deep knowledge and expertise in the subject resulted in a productive and enriching exchange.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those who accompanied us during this event, and we hope to have provided valuable information that will contribute to the success of future financial operations in international capital markets.
